Kilby, Tracey
Biography
Tracey Kilby is an information technology assistant at the Federation of American Scientists. In addition to designing, developing and documenting new applications and providing general technical support, she is assisting the director of technology in customizing hardware and software solutions for the organization.
Before joining FAS, Tracey was an editor at Platypus Media, a private publishing house in Washington, DC, which specializes in educational children's books and parenting guides. While there, she edited numerous children's books including One Minute Mysteries: 65 Short Mysteries You Solve With Science!, and was senior editor for Sleeping with Your Baby: A Parent's Guide to Cosleeping, a heavily-researched parenting manual.
She received her BA in English literature from George Washington University, and has done graduate work in computer science at Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
